Simms Insurance Agency is seeking a highly motivated individual, to service Personal and Commercial Lines Insurance Business.
Basic Requirements include:
- An Active Maryland Property and Casualty Insurance License
- Ability to multi-task and handle heavy workload with minimal supervision
- Must pay close attention to detail, perform well under pressue, have superior customer service skills, and a positive friendly attitude
- Professional Designations are a plus (CISR, CIC, etc)
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Word is required
- Working Knowledge of Applied Systems is a plus
Duties for the CSR include:
- Processing new and renewal business, audits, endorsements, certificates of insurance, assisting in marketing new accounts
- Must have a solid understanding of both commercial and personal lines insurance
- Interacting on a day to day basis with insureds, and company underwriters and our agency producers
