I talked with Sandy at Simms and she helped me realize we don’t put nearly as many miles/year on our van anymore. She was able to cut the quote by $112. When I talked to an actual rep from another Big Insurance company about their hundreds-lower quote, they raised it to $400 more than their web quote. The classic bait-and-switch. My updated Erie insurance quote from Simms was actually cheaper and in-line with other quotes I got. I told the other company their bait-and-switch was dishonest and goodbye. Renewing with Simms today. I’d always rather do business with a responsive honest local agent than this deceptive junk from other companies.”
